Communities have been hard hit with the COVID-19 pandemic.  The U.S. Census Bureau's COVID-19 Hub contains demographic and economic data designed to help guide decision-making related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This webinar will cover background information about the data hub, discuss the different surveys that make up the data, provide additional resources, and showcase a live demo of the interactive dashboard.

Another special feature is an overview of The Community Resilience Estimates  (CRE) which measures the capacity of individuals and households to absorb, endure, and recover from the health, social, and economic impacts of a disaster such as a hurricane or pandemic. The experimental CRE, in their current form, are specific to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Local planners, policy makers, public health officials, and community stakeholders can use the estimates as one tool to help assess the potential resiliency of communities and plan mitigation strategies.
